Port DeLou is located in Thayer, Indiana just outside of DeMotte. You see, Port DeLou is an escape. The land around your accommodations is mostly agriculture. No sky scrapers, no industrial plants, no noise pollution, just a romantic resort in a peaceful, natural surrounding. We’re located twenty-five miles south off U.S. 30 and I-65 (Merrillville, Indiana). Just take I-65 south to Route 10 (mile marker 230) and go west 3 miles to HWY 55. Then go north 1 mile to 1100 North and then a half mile west. It’s a beautiful country ride on HWY 55 over the Kankakee River. You’ll begin the relaxing escape from your hectic lifestyle before you even arrive. |
